Car, motorcycle. For the longer Parkieren the parking lot at the end of the via gulf, chargeable from 07:00 o'clock to 19:00 o'clock, is suitable. Per hour a modest fee of CHF 0,50 is to be paid. The parking lots which are in the village are provided all with one zeitlimite for short parks.

Course. Caslano is very well opened with the local railway ferrousvia Lugano Ponte Tresa (FLP) starting from Lugano. The old village center can be achieved by the stop however only to foot (zirka 1 km).

Ship. Unfortunately Caslano with the ship can be reached only badly, since the navigation company does not maintain regular transport service toward Ponte Tresa (Konkurenz by the substantially faster course). Daily only two ships in Caslano put on. The landing place is the ideal starting point for walks at the Monte Caslano.

Caslano, convenient in the closer environment of Lugano, is one of the most important municipalities in the mark CAN clay/tone. The village is dominated by the characteristic Monte Caslano, which forms a peninsula in the western arm of the Lago di Lugano. Due to its geological characteristics and the rich Flora and fauna the Monte Caslano with its forests was placed under nature protection. The tourism forms an important cornerstone of the economy Caslanos.

The routistic Anbebot of Caslano is various: Walks and easy migrations to and around the Monte Caslano, a fishery museum (one of three in Switzerland), a chocolate museum, the exhibition of photographic apparatuses of the donation Vincenzo Vicari as well as the different architectural monuments in the old, traffic-free village center.

Under http://www.caslano.ch/ the official homepage of the municipality Caslano (unfortunately only in Italian) is, whatever contains a local plan.

Statistic. The municipality Caslano had 31.12.2003 exactly 3'748 at the inhabitant. These divide themselves in 73% Swiss and in 27% foreigner from 46 nations.
